Core Functional Advantages
• Start-up Guarantee and Backflow Prevention
The built-in spring-assisted valve disc quickly responds to create negative pressure during pump start-up, reducing the need for priming. It immediately closes when the pump stops, preventing backflow and avoiding damage from dry running.
• High-Efficiency Filtration and Anti-Clogging
A large-area filter basket (standard 3mm aperture) at the bottom effectively intercepts large particles, protecting the pump body and valve sealing surfaces. The removable filter basket facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
• Stable Installation and Deep Suction
The flanged connection provides a robust pipe interface, and the bottom support feet ensure stable placement of the valve body at the bottom of the container, optimizing fluid inlet conditions and improving pump lift and efficiency.

Main Application Areas
▲ Water Conservancy and Drainage Systems
Used for the suction pipe end of water intake pumping stations and deep well pumps.
▲ Agricultural Irrigation
Installed at the front end of irrigation pumps to draw water from reservoirs and ponds.
▲ Industrial Processes
Inlet protection for centrifugal pumps used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries to transport liquids in tanks.
▲ Fire Protection Systems
Essential component for stationary fire pumps drawing water from pools or tanks.
Selection and Installation Guide
Key Selection Factors: Select the nominal diameter and material based on the pump's flow rate, the required minimum submersion depth (NPSH requirement), and the characteristics of the medium. Installation Points:
Ensure the valve body is installed vertically and the filter basket is completely submerged in the liquid.
The suction line should be as short and straight as possible, minimizing bends to reduce suction resistance.
Use the correct gaskets on the connecting flanges and tighten the bolts evenly.
Maintenance Tips: Regularly check the filter basket for blockages. Cleaning does not require complete disassembly of the valve from the pipeline.
