Silent Guardian – Flanged Silent Check Valve

Silent Guardian – Flanged Silent Check Valve

Product Definition: A high-performance valve specifically developed to solve water hammer and noise problems in pipeline systems. It cleverly integrates check valve functionality with a noise-reducing design, using a flange connection to ensure reliable sealing. It effectively prevents backflow of media and significantly reduces the impact and noise during valve opening and closing, making it the preferred solution for improving system stability and environmentally friendly, quiet operation.

Core Technological Highlights

• Three-Stage Noise Reduction Technology: The valve disc adopts a short-stroke design, combined with a built-in spring and hydraulic buffer device, to achieve intelligent opening and closing in three stages: "slow opening – rapid stabilization – slow closing," reducing water hammer impact at the source and lowering noise to below 65dB.

• Low Flow Resistance Energy-Saving Design: The streamlined flow channel of the valve body and the angled valve disc design reduce turbulence and eddies, lowering the flow resistance coefficient by 60% compared to traditional swing valves, resulting in significant energy savings over long-term operation.

• Zero-leakage seal: The valve disc sealing surface is inlaid with nitrile rubber (NBR) or fluororubber (FKM) into a stainless steel base, forming a soft and hard dual-material seal with the metal bevel of the valve body. This ensures zero leakage in the forward direction and instantaneous shut-off in the reverse direction.

• Smooth and precise guidance: The valve disc is equipped with a stainless steel guide sleeve, ensuring smooth and vibration-free opening and closing, precise and reliable operation, and extended service life.

Core Application Areas

▲ Building Water Supply and Drainage Systems: Water pump outlets in high-rise buildings, preventing water hammer damage to pipelines when the pump stops.

▲ Central Air Conditioning System: Hot and cold water circulation piping to prevent cooling tower backflow and system pressure fluctuations.

▲ Fire Sprinkler System: Ensures unidirectional water flow and maintains stable system pressure.

▲ Industrial Water Supply Network: Used for critical components such as plant circulating water and boiler feedwater.

Installation and Maintenance Points

Installation Direction: The arrow on the valve body must be aligned with the direction of the medium flow in the pipeline. Horizontal installation is recommended. If vertical installation is necessary, ensure the spring direction is compatible.

Pre-filter Protection: It is recommended to install a Y-type filter before the valve to prevent impurities from affecting the sealing and buffer components.

Maintenance Tips: Regularly check the pressure difference across the valve and for any abnormal noises. Under normal circumstances, no special maintenance is required.
